1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you browse blockoutgame.com, open a level walkthrough, submit a comment or image, use an embedded play area, or contact us by email. This guide is independent from the Block Out game and its developer; their apps, websites, and services have separate privacy practices.
2. Information we process
Server logs and technical data. Hosting, delivery, analytics, advertising, and security systems may process an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested URL, referring page, approximate location, request time, response status, and diagnostic or error information.
Comments and images. When you post, we process the public display name, comment or reply, level number, optional uploaded image, IP address, user agent, moderation data, and submission time. The display name, comment, and uploaded image may be visible publicly. Do not include an email address, precise location, or sensitive information in a public submission.
Email messages. When you contact us, we receive your email address and any information, attachments, or identifiers included in your message.
3. How we use information
- Provide level guides, media, comments, navigation, and other site functions.
- Publish, moderate, troubleshoot, and protect comments and image uploads.
- Detect spam, abuse, security incidents, and excessive automated requests.
- Respond to corrections, support questions, privacy requests, and legal notices.
- Measure aggregate traffic, understand guide usage, and improve site coverage and performance.
- Display and measure advertising that supports operation of the website.
5. Service providers and third-party content
We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by providers that support hosting, content delivery, storage, security, analytics, advertising, fonts, interface libraries, and website operation. Pages may also embed video or game content and link to Apple, Google Play, or other external services. Loading an embed or following a link can allow that provider to receive technical and interaction data under its own policy.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, enforce our terms, or defend legal claims.
6. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including site operation, moderation, security, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. International processing and children
Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Block Out Game Guide is intended for a general puzzle-game audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian may contact us if they believe a child submitted personal information.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information. You may also ask us to remove a comment or image you submitted. We may request enough information to locate the record, confirm your relationship to it, and protect other users from unauthorized requests.
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy when our features, providers, practices, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
